About Us
Located in Houston, Saipem America is strategically located to efficiently support offshore operations in the region. Saipem America is the center of competence for the Saipem Group for ROV and subsea robotics technology, with full design, manufacturing and testing capabilities, as well as operations, located onsite.


Our Capabilities
Saipem America has full EPCI and T&I Offshore Construction capabilities covering:

• Deepwater risers, flowlines, umbilicals and subsea production systems;
• Offshore developments involving heavy lifts, large or deepwater pipelines and trunk lines;
• Floating Production Units;
• Subsea construction;
• Decommissioning services (heavy lifts and subsea operations);
• Inspection, maintenance and subsea repair
• ROV and remote intervention


The Fleet
The global fleet of the Saipem Group is available to Saipem America for projects in the region. The Saipem construction fleet includes some of the newest and best performing vessels available on the market. The following main vessels have been operating or will operate in the region:

• Saipem 7000 Semi-submersible crane and pipelaying (J-lay) DP3 vessel
• Castorone DP3 pipelay ship with S-lay, Steep S-lay and J-lay capabilities
• FDS and FDS2 deepwater field developments vessels
• Castoro 7 Semi-submersible pipelaying barge
• Normand Cutter subsea construction DP2 vessel with a 300 MT crane, flexible pipe and umbilical deepwater installation capability

In addition, Saipem America operates light construction and ROV support vessels, such as the HOS MYSTIQUE.
